40 & Favored

Today is my 40th birthday. ๐ŸŽŠ๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿ’ฅ

According to the Bible, 40 is the number of the waiting, the preparation, the test or the punishment. For the last 40 years I've endured things that some people didn't survive. If you name it, it probably happened to me. I've been loved, hated, slighted, abused, and manipulated. Truth is I've also done the same to others. But the good news is that in 2 Corinthians 2:17 I am reminded that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun! I've not been made new because I'm 40. I am 40 because I've been made new!! Moses was 40 years old when he was called by God and I know within my heart that I'm next. I've been anointed and appointed by God and I've been waiting on such a time as this.

I just wanted to take a moment to reflect on my life and the lessons that I've learned over these last 40 years. I really wish my mom was here to see me. I've been saying that apart of me died when she died in Sept 2020 not realizing that I was within the preparation period of my life. Since then God has catapulted me to a sacred place. He's prepared me for greater. Mom, I hope you're proud๐Ÿคž

During these next 40 years, let me put away all my pride...let me change my heart and give up all that is not good within me. Let me love God with all that I am and all that I have. This will benefit my life and the lives of everyone that is connected to me.

Thank you God for choosing me to continue to be apart of your divine family. I am excited for what's to come next. I know that this will be my best year yet. People are not going to recognize me and I'm completely okay with that. I'll just happily reintroduce myself.

Love always,
